3 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher David Paulino pitched four innings, striking out eight and allowing two runs in his first start of the season Wednesday. Paulino was called up after the Astros placed pitcher Joe Musgrove on the disabled list with shoulder discomfort. Paulino is regarded as one of the top prospects in Houston's farm system and should receive another start if Musgrove isn't ready to return. The Astros also have starters Collin McHugh and Charlie Morton on the DL, so there will be space to give Paulino more opportunities. Paulino was 0-1 with a 4.50 ERA in three starts at Triple-A.--Joey C - RotoBaller
