1/16:Kansas City Royals starting pitcher Danny Duffy pleaded guilty Tuesday in Overland Park, Kansas, to driving under the influence in August. Duffy got a year of probation and will have to pay $1,220 in fines and court fees. He must report to a probation officer once a month and abstain from drugs and alcohol, and he will be subject to random breath, urine or blood screenings. Duffy got the DUI a few days after landing on the disabled list Aug. 26 with a left elbow impingement. He finished the 2017 season with a 3.81 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 130/41 K/BB ratio in 146 1/3 innings.--Chris Zolli - RotoBaller
