10/3:Kansas City Royals starting pitcher Danny Duffy had surgery Tuesday to remove loose bodies in his elbow. He's expected to have a normal offseason and should resume his training in roughly six weeks. The left-hander was the team's most dominant starter in 2017 when healthy, going 9-10 with a 3.81 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 130 strikeouts in 146 1/3 innings. Health could be an issue yet again in 2018, but other than that, Duffy should be looked at as a low-end fantasy ace for KC.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
