Daniel Robertson Hopes Glove Will Lead To Playing Time
7 years agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Daniel Robertson is capable of playing multiple positions and will have just turned 24 years old for the 2018 season. He is a very good defensive player who has some limited power upside. Batting average was a struggle in his first season of major league action. He is not the front-runner to be the starter at any particular position for the Rays but seems likely to serve as a super utility player in the infield. Between second base, third base and shortstop there is hope that he might be able to get somewhere around 250 plate appearances. Unless he earns a daily starting job, he is more of a very deep league type of player.
