Damien Harris 2021 Outlook: Ready For The Next Step?
3 years agoNew England Patriots running back Damien Harris has a much clearer path toward consistent playing time heading into the 2021-22 season. Initially, the 24-year-old was anticipated to split carries with Sony Michel. However, after Michel was traded to the Rams in August, Harris' fantasy outlook became higher than ever. The Alabama product racked up 691 yards and two touchdowns off 137 attempts last season, so it would be logical to assume those numbers will increase moving ahead, especially since he won't have Michel around hunting for touches. However, Harris' health hasn't been the best since he's been in the league, and he appears to be more injury-prone than others at the position. Still, if the third-year man can remain on the field, he could easily surpass his ADP projection this season. If he can't, rookie Rhamondre Stevenson will probably get some attention from the fantasy community.
