Damian Lillard 2018-19 Player Outlook
6 years agoPortland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard will look to carry over his excellent play from his stellar 2017-18 season in which he possibly played the best season of his career. Lillard averaged 26.9 points, 6.6 assists (career high), and 4.5 rebounds per night last year. He started the season shooting just 39.7 percent in October but upped it to 50.2 percent in January before going down to 40.4 percent in March. This is the kind of production you can expect from Lillard which makes him your best player one week to losing your field goal percentage category the next (in category leagues). Lillard has improved his shooting efficiency overall though (.519 in 2017-18) as his career has developed and if he continues this trend, he could be a steal in many leagues if taken in the second round or if he somehow slips to an early third round pick. Don’t sleep on Lillard as we know he can carry your squad if he gets hot once your league's playoffs roll around.
