Cory Littleton 2020 Outlook: Ready To Produce Top Totals With Las Vegas
5 years agoCory Littleton emerged as a premier linebacker with the Rams over the past two seasons, showing he was equally highly adept against the run and the pass. He converted the strong showings in 2018 and 2019 into a three-year contract with the Raiders, who will install him in the middle to finally fix a longtime issue. Las Vegas very much needed a leading man in the center of the defense and has been searching for an anchor player on the LB unit for quite some time. The acquisition of Littleton was considered one of the most impactful moves in NFL free agency this offseason. Littleton has been a demon against the run, with 125-plus tackles in each of the past two seasons. He has also picked off five passes during that span and recovered four fumbles in 2019. Littleton has 22 passes defensed in the last two years. Littleton is the consensus No. 5 ranked IDP selection but is a solid choice anywhere from second to fourth as well. There are high expectations for him to lead the long-awaited return to respectability at LB for Las Vegas. The speedy and versatile Littleton will be the centerpiece of the Raiders defense this year and should produce elite overall IDP numbers.
