10/16:Corey Seager, the reigning NL Rookie of the Year and starting shortstop for the Dodgers, won't travel with the team to Chicago for Games 4, 5 and 6 (if necessary) of the NLCS. Seager isn't even on the NLCS roster, but was introduced in uniform before Game 1 of the series in L.A. A bad slide in Game 3 of the NLDS versus Arizona caused a back sprain, for which Seager is taking injections and resting in the hope that he can be ready for a possible World Series appearance. As yet, he hasn't been cleared for baseball activities which should silence the rumors that he'll be used in a mid-series DL replacement.--Mario Hernandez - RotoBaller
