6 years agoAccording to Indianapolis Colts running backs coach Tom Rathman, the team does not plan to feature a bell-cow running back in 2018. "You’re not going to have a bell cow, so to speak," Rathman said, "a guy that’s going to carry the load." While all eyes are on sophomore running back Marlon Mack after having been cleared for the start of training camp, it should be no surprise that Rathman refuses to commit to any one player at this stage. With Mack and plenty of inexperienced rookies filling out the backfield, it seems more likely than not that the only scenario where a running back by committee doesn't occur is if one of those players truly stands out in training camp.--TMax-12
