3/18:Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Cody Bellinger says he won't ever again deliver a performance as bad as the one in the World Series. Bellinger, who lit up the National League for 39 home runs in the 2017 regular season en route to unanimously being voted the Rookie of the Year, hit .143 with one home run in the World Series. In 28 at-bats, he had 17 strikeouts and two games where he whiffed four times, which set a record. He knew the scouting reports on him but says he simply couldn't counter them. We'll cut a 22-year-old in his first World Series a break. He's been working with Dodgers hitting coach Turner Ward, which bodes well given Bellinger's ability to adjust to pitchers who figure him out. He's still a top-10 first baseman no matter what happened last October, and he should be grabbed by the third round of most drafts.--Mario Hernandez - RotoBaller
