4 years agoAfter battling all spring, Cody Anderson has bested the odds and won the fourth rotation spot in the Cleveland rotation. This spring, he went 2-2 with a 4.38 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 19 strikeouts in 24.2 innings in preparation for his sophomore season. After giving up a disturbing six home runs in six spring games (five starts) though, one can easily understand why the low WHIP and high ERA. If he can keep the ball in the park while keeping his K/9 near that spring level, he'll provide deep league and streaming value. If not, see if Trevor Bauer's owner threw him back into the bin.--Tony
