3/17:Acquired from the Boston Red Sox in hopes that a change of scenery would do the trick, Clay Buchholz has not made a good impression thus far in Spring. The 32-year-old has made four starts so far, giving up nine runs on 14 hits in 13 innings of work. Walks have also been an issue, as he’s given up at least one in every start he’s made. Finally, he’s surrendered four home runs in his last three starts. While Buccholz’s spot in Philadelphia’s rotation appear safe, these early performances certainly don’t give reason for excitement as we head towards the start of the season.--Ricky Delgado - RotoBaller
