4/20:Boston Red Sox starting pitcher Chris Sale’s lack of run support continues despite not allowing a run in his start Thursday. The Red Sox were unable to muster a single run with him on the mound against the Blue Jays. Sale was spectacular once again, striking out 13 while allowing only four hits and one walk in eight innings. Of the 102 pitches thrown, 80 were for strikes, the highest rate of his career. Some questioned why manager John Farrell didn’t send Sale out for the ninth up by one. Sale’s next start comes Wednesday against the Yankees at Fenway.--Jared T - RotoBaller
