Chris Herndon IV 2019 Outlook: Second-Year Tight End Looking To Make The Leap
6 years agoNew York Jets tight end Chris Herndon IV was not on many fantasy gamers' radars heading into the 2018 season. A fourth-round draft pick in 2018, Herndon went on to post a very productive rookie season, catching 39 balls for 502 yards and four touchdowns. Herndon caught just seven passes through the first five games of the season but saw his role, and productivity, grow as the season went on. With the Jets offense expected to be much-improved in 2019, Herndon can be considered a low-end TE1 in fantasy league drafts this fall. He is an excellent draft-day target for those fantasy owners who choose to wait on the position as he has the potential to break out this upcoming season.
