Chris Davis Looks To Bounce Back After Average Season In 2017
7 years agoIf you look at Chris Davis' power numbers, they weren't THAT bad. Had he played his usual 150+ games, he would have likely hit at least 30 or more homers. The fact that he only had 61 RBI is a bit more worrisome, but that's not entirely under his control. Still, fantasy owners have to remember that he had 38 homers in 2016 and 47 in '15 - his power isn't gone. He's also only turning 32 in the middle of March, so he should have a lot of productivity left. Still, we think that there are a LOT more choices at first base, ranking him No. 27 at the position and No. 158 out of 358 overall. You can likely grab him in a later round as a second first baseman - think around Pick No. 200.
