7/17:A’s utility infielder Chad Pinder (hamstring) was able to complete running drills on Saturday and said he was at 100 percent and ready for a rehab assignment. There has not been an official announcement on his rehab as of yet, but it can be expected that he will go out soon and could return to the A’s by the end of the month. Pinder has had a good season at the plate, blasting nine home runs and driving in 25 in just 145 at-bats. However, the return of Marcus Semien has pushed Pinder back into a utility role. Should he regain a starting role via injury or inconsistency, he could be worth a look in 12 or 14 team leagues. Without consistent starts however, Pinder is only rosterable in very deep formats.--Andy P - RotoBaller
