4/20:Colorado Rockies outfielder Carlos Gonzalez left Wednesday's game after being hit by a pitch, but X-rays were negative, and he only has a bruised right hand. This is a major bullet dodged for the Rockies, who are working to get Ian Desmond back in the lineup, and for fantasy owners that would have needed to fill another outfield position. Gonzalez is batting .175 this season, posting only one home run and 13 strikeouts in 15 games, so some time off might not be the worst idea considering his injury and struggles. Mitch Haniger and Ender Inciarte are nice pickups for the long term if available, and Jose Martinez is nice for the short term.--Chris Zolli - RotoBaller
