8/13:Houston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa (thumb) is scheduled to grip a bat for the first time Monday, although he's not yet ready to resume swinging a bat. The young phenom has been out since July 17 after having surgery to fix torn ligaments in his thumb and is unlikely to return until around mid-September with the Astros likely cruising to an easy American League West title. He was slashing a healthy .320/.400/.566 with 20 home runs and 67 RBI and should remain stashed in all leagues. Infielder Marwin Gonzalez will continue to fill in at the 6 in the meantime and is himself having a fantastic season, hitting .314 with 20 home runs and 68 RBI. Gonzalez has earned himself the designation of being a must-own and must-play in all fantasy leagues, especially considering his multi-position eligibility.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
