4 months agoMinnesota Twins shortstop Carlos Correa (heel) was able to make it back into the lineup on Tuesday versus the Tampa Bay Rays. He went 1-for-4 with a double, which broke up Zach Eflin's early no-hit bid in the fourth inning, and three strikeouts in his return. The 28-year-old was out of action for the last three games as he continues to manage the plantar fasciitis in his left foot. Correa has been a massive fantasy disappointment, hitting just .208/.298/.375 with 6 homers and 24 RBI over 192 at-bats this season. It's fair to wonder if Minnesota would better suited sending their $200 million slugger to the injured list for a spell to mend his balky foot a bit. Correa may have to deal with the issue all season, regardless, and it seems the Twins will continue to take a day-to-day approach with the two-time All-Star.--Joseph Barbati - RotoBaller
