Buddy Hield 2018-19 Player Outlook
6 years agoSacramento Kings shooting guard Buddy Hield came to Sacramento with high hopes but has not quite panned out as expected, just yet. Hield saw his numbers take a slight decline last year from his 25 games that he played in 2016-17 for the Kings after the trade as he put up 13.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.2 threes and 1.1 steals on a respectable 44.6% from the floor in 25.3 minutes a night in 2017-18. He does not get to line often (just 81 attempts in 80 games last year) and does not distribute much from the guard spot at just 1.9 assists a night. It is still in the air whether or not the Kings will continue to bring Hield of the bench or go with a three-guard starting line-up consisting of De’Aaron Fox and Bogdan Bogdanovic. If Hield does get the starting nod, he could be in a for a breakout season.
