Brook Lopez 2018-19 Player Outlook
6 years agoMilwaukee Bucks center Brook Lopez could be an under-the-radar fantasy pick up next season. His fantasy stock nosedived last year in L.A. after the Lakers elected to not play him much, but he's now in a much better place in Milwaukee. Lopez logged only 23.4 minutes per game last year, getting just 13 points and four rebounds. This after hitting a career-high 34.6 percent of his threes a season before on his way to scoring 20.5 points per game. On paper, Milwaukee might look like a dark place for him as well, with the Bucks playing a lot of small ball in 2017-18, but the appointment of Mike Budenholzer as head coach should change that. Lopez won't be a beast on the boards, but he's a versatile scorer whose three-point range will make him a very valuable player for the Bucks as he'll open up driving lanes for Giannis and others.
