1/17:Free-agent relief pitcher Brian Duensing has agreed to a two-year contract to go back to the Chicago Cubs, according to Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports. Heyman says that the deal is worth $7 million and that Duensing turned down significantly more money from other teams to return to Chicago. Duensing arguably had the best season of his career in 2017 with Chicago, posting a 2.74 ERA in 62 1/3 innings and striking out 8.8 batters per nine innings as the top lefty for the National League Central champions.--Chris Zolli - RotoBaller
