5 days agoTampa Bay Rays two-way prospect Brendan McKay will serve as the team's 26th man and start the first game of a doubleheader on Saturday against the Orioles. McKay, the team's No. 2 prospect and No. 23 overall per MLB Pipeline, has a 2.45 ERA with six strikeouts and one walk in 11 innings over his first two major league starts against the Yankees and Rangers, which are both strong offenses. McKay could be sent back to the minors after the start, but he figures to make more starts in the second half and should be owned and started in most leagues on Saturday against the lowly Orioles.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
