3/15:New York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo (hamstring) thinks that he can be ready for opening day. He suffered the injury in the World Baseball Classic on Sunday. Nimmo had a great year at Triple-A last year and earned his first big league call-up. However, his power has never really surfaced in the minors like it was expected to, and he also hasn't stolen double-digit bases since 2013. He'll likely start at Triple-A in 2017 and is likely to remain there for much of the year due to New York's crowded outfield picture.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
