3/13:Houston Astros pitching prospect Brady Rodgers (elbow) threw off a mound on Tuesday for the first time since undergoing Tommy John surgery last May, according to Jake Kaplan of The Athletic. It was the second career Tommy John procedure for Rodgers, who likely will not be an option for the Astros until the middle of the 2018 regular season. The 27-year-old right-hander holds a promising 3.37 ERA in 275 career innings at the Triple-A level. He made his major league debut with the Astros in 2016.--Chris Zolli - RotoBaller
