Blake Griffin 2018-19 Player Outlook
6 years agoDetroit Pistons power forward Blake Griffin remains a gamble in fantasy basketball after posting his fourth consecutive year with 67 or less regular season games in 2017-18. He was healthy for only 58 games last season, which he split between the Clippers and Detroit. It took him just four games to record his first triple-double for the Pistons and overall, he coped really well with the midseason trade, scoring 19.8 points per game with 6.6 rebounds and 6.2 assists. However, it's hard to look past all his health issues and fantasy owners must be prepared for the worse even before the season kicks off. Griffin's shooting was also a worry last season as he shot a career-low 43.8 percent from the field. Although, he made up for it a bit with a career-high in assists (5.8). Pistons coach Dwane Casey has actually said that he wants Griffin to become the best passing power forward in the league, which will be an interesting thing to watch.
