6 months agoKansas City Royals outfielder Billy Hamilton has had quite a disappointing season so far, hitting just .225 with only 12 stolen bases, but he did pick up a couple RBI on Father's Day with a timely single and exciting bunt. Hamilton's bunt was particularly critical as the squeeze brought home Nicky Lopez when it was just a one-run ballgame. The bunt nearly failed as Hamilton pushed it so hard to the first baseman that he winged it right back to the catcher in an instant, but Lopez's speed and nifty slide got him by the tag. Hamilton's stats this year are terrible, and this was just his third RBI in the last six weeks. He's also only swiped one bag in the last two weeks, and he's been caught on 25% of his attempts this season. At this point, he's not providing the one thing owners would want from him, so he really shouldn't be owned in the vast majority of leagues.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
