5 years agoStewart-Haas Racing driver Aric Almirola ended up finishing in seventh place in the weather-shortened Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway on Sunday. Almirola was collected in a 'Big One' at Daytona in February, finishing 32nd after qualifying eighth. In this one, he started 11th and improved to seventh. It was his first finish in a points race since also finishing seventh in Texas back on March 31. Next up is a trip to Kentucky next Saturday, and he has a 20.0 Average-Finish Position in six starts at the track.--Daniel Dobish
