3 years agoAngel Pagan had a solid day at the plate on Sunday, going 3-for-5 with a double and a triple against the Yankees. The performance marked Pagan's fourth multi-hit effort since the second half of the season began. Those in deeper or NL-only leagues should consider Pagan an option, as his .292/.337/.432 line with five homers and nine steals provides a good indicator of Pagan's true identity: a non-flashy player with no glaring weaknesses or overwhelming strengths. He'll take on the Reds' Anthony DeScalfani at home on Monday night. Pagan has never faced DeScalfani, who has turned in six straight quality starts and picked up a win in five of the those contests.--Brett Bookheimer - RotoBaller
