4/21:Texas Rangers starting pitcher Andrew Cashner had a rebound performance Thursday against the Royals, as he did not allow a run through six innings. While he only surrendered three hits, Cashner walked more batters than he struck out for the second consecutive contest and now holds a 5:7 strikeout-to-walk ratio over 11 1/3 innings. The performance may have been good enough to get him by the Royals, but we have seen no evidence that Cashner can be trusted as an option in shallow leagues to this point. He will take a deceptive 2.38 ERA into his start against the Twins next week.--Christopher Olson - RotoBaller
