4/20:Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim shortstop Andrelton Simmons went 2-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Thursday’s 2-1 loss to the Astros. Simmons was about the only bright spot for the Angels offensively in a game dominated by Lance McCullers and Chris Devenski. Simmons did get picked off first base in the fifth inning, but otherwise he had a great game. Simmons is now 4-for-10 over his last three games with a home run and a steal. The elite fielding shortstop does not do enough with the stick to warrant a roster spot in standard formats, but those in deep mixed and AL-only leagues should roster him simply because his glove will keep him in the lineup daily. The Angels head home to play the Blue Jays next.--Andy P - RotoBaller
