Andre Drummond 2018-19 Player Outlook
6 years agoDetroit Pistons center Andre Drummond was a monster last season, leading the league in rebounds and recording 17 games with 20-plus boards, but he might just have an even bigger year in 2018-19, especially offensively. According to reports, Detroit's new head coach Dwane Casey sees a bigger role on offense for him. "He told me to work on ball handling, work on the corner three," Drummond said in July. "I’m really excited for it. Looking forward to doing this part of the game, being more involved in the offense and I think he’s going to use me the right way." Drummond's career-high in scoring is 16.2 per game, which he posted during his first All-Star campaign in 2015-16. He was an All-Star again last season when he became only the second player in the last 40 years to average 16 rebounds per game. Drummond added 15 points, three rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.6 blocks per game, while massively improving his free throw shooting to 60.5 percent. He'll be the x-factor of many fantasy teams.
