3 years agoWide receiver Alshon Jeffery gave his fantasy owners a scare Thursday when he missed practice. Thankfully, it was only because of an illness, and he remains on target to start in Week 17 against the Vikings. Back in Week 8, Jeffery scored his first touchdown of the season against Minnesota despite only catching four balls for 63 yards. Since then, the Vikings' pass defense has only gotten worse, currently allowing the ninth most fantasy points to wide receivers over the past four weeks. If his quarterback can take advantage of this warm matchup, Jeffery could end the season with an exclamation point. If not, he's at least averaging 91 yards per game over the past two weeks, making him a low-risk WR2 this week.--Tony
