Allen Hurns 2018 Outlook: Looking to Claim Top Receiving Role for Cowboys
6 years agoDallas Cowboys receiver Allen Hurns is the top option when it comes to their passing game, but hasn’t produced the numbers to prove it. Hurns was signed in the offseason to a two-year deal but has a total of five touchdowns over the past two seasons. Hurns posted over 1,000 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns in 2015, but since then he has a total of 961 yards and five touchdowns. His lack of production was certainly impacted by his injury issues, as he missed five or more games in two straight seasons. According to reports, Hurns is the clear top option at receiver, so the raw volume and targets he should be seeing will likely make this his best season since 2015. He is certainly not the safest option, but with his ADP sitting at 119, he should be available in most drafts.
