3 years agoTop pitching prospect and potential National League Rookie of the Year candidate Alex Reyes may not take the mound at all in 2017. Reyes underwent an MRI Tuesday, and the Cardinals are fearing the worst after it was revealed that he had a partial tear of the ulnar collateral ligament in his elbow. The team will seek a second opinion and has not made any official announcement as of yet. If true, this is a big setback to a promising young career. Dynasty league owners will need to find a replacement arm and re-draft owners should scratch him off their ranking lists.
