2 years agoAngels starter Alex Meyer (shoulder) has continued to do light throwing, but has not progressed to long toss. Manager Mike Scioscia anticipates that Meyer will rehab and come back as a starter, but there is still a chance he returns as a reliever instead to limit his workload. Meyer has a 3.74 ERA and a 1.34 WHIP on the year, but the return of Andrew Heaney may have pushed him out of a rotation spot. If Meyer does return to the rotation he is worth a spot in deeper leagues and AL-only formats. As a reliever, he is not rosterable in most formats.--Andy P - RotoBaller
