Alex Dickerson Could Start
7 years agoAlex Dickerson missed the entire 2017 season to injury and returns to an overcrowded outfield situation in San Diego. Dickerson’s value was pointing up after hitting 10 HR and posting a .788 OPS over 84 games in 2016, but spring training will determine how much he’ll play in 2018 and his resulting fantasy value. Dickerson is a left-handed bat in a righty-heavy lineup and his 0.55 BB:K rate offers much needed patience for the Padres, but his -3.7 UZR on defense won’t do him any favors. Dickerson is currently well off the draft radar at his 628 ADP and OF132 which is justified until more clarity on his forecasted playing time emerges.
