3/19:Entering Spring Training with a strong chance of earning the starting center field role for the Chicago Cubs, Albert Almora has all but locked up the position as we draw closer to opening day. The 22-year-old Florida native is hitting .316 through 38 plate appearances, picking up seven extra-base hits and six RBI. While competitor Jon Jay remains in the hunt, Almora is making a serious push to win the starting position outright. Even if he doesn’t earn the starter role, Almora should garner draft attention for his potential and lenient availability in the later rounds of fantasy drafts.--Ricky Delgado - RotoBaller
