3 years agoTo say 2016 was a disappointment for Alshon Jeffery would be a gross understatement. Coming into the season, he was a known commodity and sure thing as a WR1 pick coming off an injury shortened 2015. But after three quarterbacks, poor offensive planning and a performance-enhancing drug suspension, Jeffery finished the season producing slightly worse results than last year. All told, he caught 52 balls for 821 yards and two touchdowns over 12 games. Opposing teams found out early on that the Bears were afraid to throw into extra coverage, and the the team never found a way to break that chokehold. This led to multiple weeks of limited targets and nail-biting production from Jeffery with his team rarely playing with a lead. If he has any chance of returning to his glory days of fantasy dominance, he'll need things out of his hands (game plans and teammates) to go favorably. He'll be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, so landing in a better offensive situation is likely to benefit him fantasy wise.--Tony
