12/16:Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez was traded to the Atlanta Braves on Saturday, but according to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, Gonzalez will be designated for assignment by Atlanta. Gonzalez would be a free agent if he is designated for assignment, as he does not have a spot in Atlanta with Freddie Freeman in place. The 35-year-old Gonzalez only had a .642 OPS in 71 games for the Dodgers last season.--Chris Zolli - RotoBaller
