6/3:After Chicago's bullpen crumbled on Wednesday night, they faced another stiff test today, but passed with flying colors. With the Cubs holding on to a precious one-run lead, Adam Warren entered the game in the seventh inning with two on and two outs. He induced a groundout against the only batter he faced, escaping the jam. Pedro Strop came on in the eighth with the one-run lead still intact. The dominican relief pitcher would retire the side in order, and by the time Justin Grimm came on to finish the game, the lead had ballooned to 6-0. While the scoreline won’t tell you so, this was a tough situation for the bullpen and they were able to hold on until the offense put the game out of reach.--Ricky Delgado - RotoBaller
