7 months agoWashington Nationals outfielder Adam Eaton (knee) has been out of the lineup of late because of an aching left knee. With the Nationals not making the playoffs, there's no reason to push Eaton the rest of the way. Instead, the team will likely want to get a look at outfield prospect Victor Robles, who is playing center field and hitting leadoff against Mets ace Jacob deGrom on Friday. Robles has struggled since his call-up, though, and is in for a tough matchup. Eaton has hit well this year (.294), but his counting stats (five homers, 30 RBI, eight steals) have left a lot to be desired.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
