9/25:Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Aaron Altherr (toe) suffered a ligament tear in his right big toe when he crashed into the outfield wall on Monday. With only six games left in the season, he will not play again this year. It's a fitting end to what was a big disappointment of a season for the 27-year-old, who hit only .181/.295/.333 with eight home runs and 38 RBI in 105 games. That's after he had twice as many homers (19) and 65 RBI while hitting .272 in 107 games last year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
