3/18:A.J. Ellis, who has yet to play this Spring, is making progress with his left hamstring strain. The 35-year-old Ellis, who played under Marlins' skipper Don Mattingly in Los Angeles, will begin the season as J.T. Realmuto's backup. Ellis doesn't offer any significant value to fantasy owners, though he could see more starts as Miami looks to occasionally use Realmuto at first base.--Steven Slivka - RotoBaller
