7/10:With four chances to get the game's final out, Cleveland Indians closer Cody Allen faltered in spectacular fashion against the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday. Allen started the ninth with a 4-0 lead, but hit Scooter Gennett and allowed an infield single to Eugenio Suarez. After retiring the next two hitters, Allen yielded an RBI single, a two-run double and two walks (one intentional), leaving with the bases loaded after 31 pitches. Dan Otero then surrendered the game-deciding hit -- Joey Votto's bases-clearing double. In all, Allen was torched for six earned runs, spiking his season ERA from 3.25 to 4.66. It was only Allen's second blown save of the season, and he hadn't been scored upon in his previous seven outings. Allen owners will just have to shake this off.--Neil Tardy - RotoBaller
