3/16:Hamstring injuries are always a fantasy nuisance, and so when Brandon Nimmo suffered a right hamstring injury last week playing for Italy in the World Baseball Classic, dynasty owners grimaced a bit. However, all is well, as Nimmo ran and hit in Mets camp on Wednesday and seems likely to be ready to go very soon. This news is really only for those in extremely deep leagues and dynasty leagues, as Nimmo is a few spots down the list for playing time in the Mets' outfield. He’s highly likely to open the regular season with the Las Vegas 51’s in Triple-A. His failure to impress in his major league stint last year also doesn’t do him any favors in fantasy circles. As one of the Mets’ better prospects, he’s worth monitoring for that reason only, but don’t make a concentrated effort to acquire him.--Andrew Bua - RotoBaller
