SG: Lance Stephenson ($13,991): My top play of the night in a salary cap format is Stephenson. Over his past two weeks he is putting up great all-around numbers of 14.7 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 4.5 assists a game. Those should only multiply tonight against an awful Lakers team that is second to last in the league in defense giving up 106 points a game. The Lakers are especially bad at the two guard where Jodie Meeks offers little to no resistance to the opposition. The NBA leader in triple doubles should have a good chance to get another one tonight.
SF: Gerald Green ($10,777): Outside of Goran Dragic, the most important player on the improved Suns team has been Gerald Green. Over his past six games he has averaged 23.3 points a game, mainly due to his outside shooting touch where he has 17 three pointers in those games. Green does not contribute a ton in terms of assists, steals or blocks, however he does have a seven game streak of at grabbing at least 4 rebounds. Tonight’s opponent for Green, the Timberwolves, allows 101.7 points a game while allowing opponents to shoot 36% from deep, expect a big scoring game from the Suns wing.
PF: Tobias Harris ($14,272): Harris, like Oladipo, has picked up his play since the departure of Glen Davis. In his last two games he has combined for 50 points, 14 rebounds, and 3 steals. Harris is also working on a seven game streak of scoring over 12 points and grabbing over 5 rebounds. His price has started to creep up, however a matchup with the Nene-less Wizards should mean good things for the young forward.
C: Timofey Mozgov ($6,854): With the news that Mozgov will take over starting center duties for the Nuggets, the big man is a near must own tonight. He has not put up stellar numbers of late but is fairly consistent with his 9 points, 6 rebounds and 1 block a game. Mozgov has put up those numbers in just 20 minutes a contest thus far in the season and it is fair to assume in his new role he will be getting closer to 30 minutes a night. Combined with the fact that the Nuggets are likely to be without LaMarcus Aldridge tonight and you have the potential for a huge fantasy night at a minimal price.
U: Kevin Seraphin ($6,270): As we mentioned when talking about Harris, Seraphin is likely in for a much larger role now that Nene has been ruled out for 4-6 weeks with a sprained knee. The Wizards have not announced a starter but it seems likely that Seraphin and Trevor Booker will split time upfront. Although Seraphin has not been great of late, he does have games of 10 points and 7 rebounds, 19 points and 5 rebounds, and 10 points and 8 rebounds in his last 12 outings. He should be able to put up a near double-double tonight against Orlando.
