Zach LaVine LESS THAN 28.5 POINTS – It would be easy to grab for the over because the Bulls are at home against the Washington Wizards, a team allowing a league-worst 119.9 points per game, but LaVine is averaging 22.4 points per game at home this season so it’s tough to count on LaVine scoring 6.6 points over his home average to get to 29 points.
Kyrie Irving LESS THAN 25.5 POINTS – In two games since returning to the Nets lineup, Irving scored 21 then 32 points. The Sixers are a strong enough defensive team, allowing 105.7 points per game, sixth-best in the league, that it’s not going to be an easy night for Irving to fill it up.
Bradley Beal MORE THAN 24.5 POINTS – Even though the Bulls have a better than average defensive record, believe it or not, it’s still reasonable to like Beal to score at least 25 because he’s averaging 27.6 points per game on the road this season.
Kemba Walker LESS THAN 23.5 POINTS – Walker is putting up 22.5 points per game at home and the Pistons are a middle-of-the-road defensive squad. He has scored 23 points or fewer in six of the past eight games.
Jaylen Brown LESS THAN 21.5 POINTS – Having a breakout season, Brown is averaging 21.4 points per game at home but he has also managed to score more than 21 points just once in the past six games.
Andrew Wiggins LESS THAN 21.5 POINTS – Another player having a breakout campaign, Wiggins is averaging 25.1 points per game at home but he’s facing an Indiana team that plays good defense and has struggled recently when coming back from injury, putting up more than 21 points just once in his past six games, shooting 35.2% from the field in that time.
DeMar DeRozan MORE THAN 21.5 POINTS – Not only is DeRozan more productive on the road, scoring 24.7 points per game, but he’s also scored more than 21 points in eight straight games. Miami is better than average defensively, but not enough to bring down a red-hot DeRozan.
RAPID FIRE
Andre Drummond -1.5 rebounds vs. Domantas Sabonis – Drummond is averaging – averaging! – 16.9 rebounds per game on the road and the Celtics are a below-average rebounding team so it looks like he should put up huge numbers. As great as he’s been on the boards, Sabonis has gone eight straight games with 16 or fewer rebounds. He may control the glass even more if Karl-Anthony Towns isn’t ready to return to the Timberwolves lineup but Drummond’s dominance makes him a worthy favorite.

James Harden LESS THAN 37.5 POINTS – This is such a huge number to cover. Harden is averaging 36.7 points per game at home and the Trail Blazers have a below-average defensive record but he’s scored 38 or more just five times in the past dozen games.
Damian Lillard LESS THAN 26.5 POINTS – The Rockets defense is similar to the Trail Blazers’ in its ineffectiveness so Lillard might fare better than normal but his road scoring average of 24.2 points per game makes it a big ask for 27 or more points.
Anthony Davis LESS THAN 25.5 POINTS – The Magic are allowing a league-low 103.5 points per game and Davis was held to 25 or fewer points in five of his last seven games before missing the past three games due to injury so even though he’s averaging 27.3 points per game at home the under seems to be the safer play.
Nikola Jokic LESS THAN 22.5 POINTS – The Hornets have a middle-of-the-road defensive record so it’s difficult to look at Jokic, who averages 19.2 points per game on the road, and count on him scoring at least 23, something he’s done twice in the past eight games overall.
RAPID FIRE
LeBron James -2.5 assists vs. Devonte’ Graham – If Anthony Davis returns to the fold for the Lakers that should improve LeBron’s assist numbers as he’s managed just 6.7 assists per game in his past three games. However, he does have 10.6 assists per game at home and that’s still an edge over Graham, who is averaging 7.5 assists per game on the road.
Clint Capela -0.5 rebouns vs. Hassan Whiteside – Capela is averaging 14.3 rebounds per game at home and Whiteside is averaging 12.5 per game on the road. Going head to head, Capela is the play as the favorite.
