Recent Update

8/22:Kansas City Royals outfield prospect Bubba Starling is done for the year after injuring his oblique for the second time this year. Starling had performed well at Triple-A Omaha, but after missing a little over a month due to an oblique injury, he was only able to stay healthy for seven games before re-injuring the muscle. Starling is one of a host of outfielders that will be vying for major league spots next season, and though he improved in 2017, he still only hit .248 with seven home runs and five stolen bases in 278 at-bats. With the log jam in the Royals outfield, he is likely to start 2018 in Triple-A once again.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
