Recent Update

8/27:Minnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler had a big night against the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday, hitting his second career grand slam. The grand slam was Kepler's only hit in four at-bats, but it was a big one. Kepler is now slashing .248/.313/.437 with 17 homers, 57 runs, and 59 RBI in 428 at-bats this season. Kepler is still young and has plenty of room to improve, although the left-hander is going to need to improve against left-handed pitching to become more than a platoon player. The 24-year-old is hitting just .135 against southpaws this season. Kepler is worth a look in AL-only leagues, but he isn't a must-own. If you plan on deploying him, make sure there's a right-handed pitcher on the mound.--Matt Terelle - Rotoballer
